CD of the Day

E-Lux by Human Waste Project
Hollywood Records 1997, HR-62067-2

Frenetic guitars, relentless pounding on the drums, bass that sounds like the aural equivalent of a gravel pit and a singer whose voice is somewhere between an air-raid siren and a snarl. This is a pretty good CD considering it was rescued from a flooded basement. If you can find it buy it because it'll probably be about a buck in the cut-out bin. Well worth that, for sure. Also, I really like the packaging design and concept by John Eder and Human Waste Project.

Aimee Echo (vocals)
Mike Tempesta (guitar)
Jeff Schartoff (bass)
Scott Ellis (drums)
